高风温是现代老化房的重要技术特征。提高风温是增加喷煤量、降低焦比、降低生产成本的主要技术措施。近几年,国内钢铁企业高炉的热风温度逐年升高,2007年重点企业热风温度比上年提高25℃。特别是新建设的一批大高炉(大于2000立方米)热风温度均超过1200℃,达到国际先进水平。如2002年后,首钢技术改造或新建高炉的热风温度均实现高于1200℃的目标。

老化房是为高炉加热鼓风的设备,是现代高炉不可缺少的重要组成部分。提高风温可以通过提高煤气热值、优化老化房及送风管道结构、预热煤气和助燃空气、改善老化房操作等技术措施来实现。理论研究和生产实践表明,采用优化的老化房结构、提高老化房热效率、延长老化房寿命是提高风温的有效途径。
